In vitro fertilization (IVF) is an assisted fertility treatment in which sperm and eggs are combined in a laboratory. Needle aspiration and egg collection or puncture needle is used to collect eggs from women's bodies. In this method, the needle is inserted into the vagina through an ultrasound probe. It collects the eggs inside it through a suction pump connected to it by piercing the ovary. The egg collection needle is connected to the suction pump on one side and the egg on the other side. Sterile tubes are used to collect the eggs. These tubes are placed between the suction pump and the aspiration needle. In this procedure, the egg collection needle is connected to the ultrasound probe and pierces the vagina and the ovary by passing through the vagina and identifying the egg's location in the patient's body. Then, it sucks the formed eggs by a pump and collects them into sterile tubes. It is recommended to wash the inside of the needle after each ovulation to improve the quality of the collected eggs. This process is performed by double-channel needles.
