The endometrial sampling catheter is considered a sterile and disposable device used in order to obtain a histological biopsy of the endometrial lining or a sample of the menstrual contents of the uterus. A biopsy is taken mostly from the endometrium and uterus for accurately diagnosing of the possibility of uterine cancer in suspicious people. The endometrial sampling catheter allows the physician to obtain the necessary sample for the pathology test with minimum damage using suction force and surface scratching. Thanks to its lower cost, outpatient nature, and no need for anesthesia, this technique has primarily replaced the traditional dilation and curettage (D&C) in the operating room in recent years.

The endometrial sample is used for the following purposes:

1. Evaluating the infertility conditions, menstrual disorders, postmenopausal bleeding, abnormal cytology suspected of endometrial origin, and hormone replacement therapy.
2. Diagnosing endometrial carcinoma.
3. Diagnosing egg defects.
4. Endometrium dating.
5. Microscopic examination.
